Conversation notifications
Notifications show for each conversation and team. When there are new messages in a conversation or team, you'll see a number of unread messages displayed beside the name.
You can also view all your notifications on the sidebar. Switch your notifications on or off by selecting the conversation settings button for an individual conversation.
A @mention is a good way to get someone's attention. People are notified whenever their username is tagged in a conversation. In addition, the mentions tab helps show when you've been recently mentioned.
